My last weekend on Graveyard!

So it is my last weekend, actually tonight will be my last night to be exact, on graveyard. I am hoping this will mean that I will be able to readjust my sleep schedule and feel more rested so I can get more products made. I need to step it up with the advertising as well. Creative Block

Today I am feeling a lack of creativity. I want so badly to create something and I am thinking that that may be the reason as to why I can't come up with a decent idea. I set up my work station and lay out supplies, cut ribbon, etc. Then when it comes down to actually putting something together I freeze up and can't seem to get anything started. It is outrageously frustrating and I can't seem to turn my brain off either. I guess I just really want this to take off and get off the ground. Whew I need to relax I think. Hopefully I will have some new products to post later today.

What today has in store.

I do not feel that today is going to be a very productive day seeing as how it is already 4 o'clock and I have gotten basically nothing done. I got off work at 6 a.m. and only slept a couple of hours this morning. I am babysitting a year old and I have a 2 year old of my own so it is very fast paced at my house today. I am hoping to at least get started on the blanket order that was placed since the fabric arrived over the weekend. I would like to make a few more bows and maybe a headband or two as well but we shall see. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by!

A Custom Order Finished and A Few New Bows Added.

So I just finished a custom order and I am in LOVE with one of the headbands. It is just so cute!

 I very much hope this client will come to me with her future needs as well as suggest me to her friends! Word of mouth is the best way to get your name out after all. I just really want to provide quality items for people at an affordable price.

So this order consisted of three head bands and boy did I have fun making them. The first one is shown in the photo above, teal and black.

She also wanted a hot pink headband:

And a black and white with polka dots headband:

As I said I had so much fun make this order and look forward to her hopefully placing more orders in the future.



                I made a few other new headbands today as well while trying to experiment using feathers. I don't feel they came out half bad.
